World of Warplanes

from the dogfight dept.

As the E3 dust settles, and our lifelogging from the floor ceases, we get around to mentioning World of Warplanes, announced during the conference by Wargaming.net, creator of BigWorld-powered World of Tanks.

Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi says “We don’t want to say this is a spinoff of World of Tanks… This is not an add-on, this is a separate, standalone game.”

The game will put players in the pilot’s seat of classic warplanes from the 30’s to the 50’s.

Ten Ton Hammer has a great writeup.
