BigWorld-Powered World of Warplanes: First Screens

from the inauguration desk has today unveiled the official website of their upcoming title World of Warplanes.

The title was officially announced during E3. Here you’ll see the first round of pre-alpha screenshots. These screens represent an early prototype of the game, and demonstrate some of the planned basic mechanics (i.e. dogfighting).

Based purely on aircraft setting, World of Warplanes will allow players to build full-scale careers of virtual pilots offering machines of several key eras, staring from 1930’s with biplanes and up to Korean War jet fighters that led the way to modern air forces. CEO Victor Kislyi: “We are thrilled with the launch of a website for World of Warplanes. We’ll be gradually expanding and developing the website along with the growth of the game and its community.”

On a related note, those of you that will be joining us at Gamescom should be sure to attend the official World of Tanks party at Gamescom 2011.

BigWorld and will both have booths, so come chat us up.
