from the westward expansion desk

Wargaming.net, developer of BigWorld-powered World of Tanks and recently-announced World of Warplanes, is officially launching its business in North America.

Their bay area office in Emeryville will be headed by Jeremy Monroe, formerly of Activision, Frogster, Accenture, Sulake, and so forth. This news comes on the heels of Wargaming.net’s announcement of the opening of their two European offices in Berlin and Paris, also headed by game dev all-stars.

Catch both BigWorld and Wargaming.net at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, where BigWorld-powered World of Warplanes will be officially introduced.
