World of Tanks: Generals Announced

from the CCG desk

Wargaming.net just announced a surprising new addition to their BigWorld-Powered “World of…” trilogy: an online collectible card game entitled “World of Tanks: Generals“.

A World War II based card game, WoT: Generals will require patience and strategy to win against your opponent. Players will have to implement elements of surprise and well thought out tactics to overthrow their enemies. The game will launch with 220 cards, offering a wide range of tactical combinations.

“Strategy and tactics must be successfully utilized in order to win and with every single move straddling the line between victory and defeat, players must carefully plan their every action.”

Just like their World of Tanks 7.5 Update, Wargaming.net is sure to make WoT: Generals accessible to all player types. With multiple game modes to choose from, Wargaming.net has tailor-made each one for specific skill levels.

“Newcomers can hone their skills in tutorial missions and single player battles against computer-controlled opponents. Veterans can test their mettle in player-vs-player multiplayer matches and historic campaigns. Players looking for a more team-focused experience can take part in multiple tournaments or join clans to asset their control on the Global map.”

WoT: Generals will be playable on nearly any device that has an internet browser. Wargaming.net has also promised that games started on one platform can be finished on another – so if you start one game on your tablet on the bus, once you get home you can get on your PC and finish the game you were just playing.

“As long as you have a device with an internet connection, the battle will always be at your fingertips.”

This game will also fit into Wargaming.net’s universal game platform, meaning that the account you already use for World of Tanks can be used to sign in and play WoT: Generals.

No release dates have been set, but from the looks of it WoT: Generals will be yet another exciting addition to Wargaming.net’s online empire.
