The team at Wargaming has just launched World of Tanks in China!

The team presented their MMO tank warfare game to the Chinese market at a press conference in Shanghai this afternoon. In attendance at the were a battalion of journalists, bloggers, and a bona fide PRC General.  The party continued through the afternoon with an interview, presentation, and obligatory soju-drinking competition.

The game has thus far garnered massive attention in Europe and North America. We can only assume that their introduction to the massive Chinese gaming community will have them breaking their own Guinness record for the maximum number of users playing concurrently on the same game server.
